The key to understanding Because an Effect is the title itself. This track is an attempt to reverse the role of sounds and special effects. The sounds are incidental, the effects are the focus. Instead of playing sounds and adding effects, the sound foundation is minimized and the effects are played by liberal dynamic modification of their characteristics.
